Elodie squinted at me. "Anon..."
Several days later, with Congressional approval and some quick and dirty lobbying I'd gotten The Blob FDA approved as an all-purpose resource. Blob slime was used to clean away pollutants and harmlessly dissolve heavy metals and radioactive waste. Extracts from the Blob were used to treat everything from osteoporosis to dwarfism, and Blob compounds were combined with sand and gravel to make an eco-friendly building material. And all it cost was dumping offal from slaughterhouses (but no hospital waste, can't have any syringes or scalpels ending up in a hygienically treated Blob) into The Blob as it harmlessly undulated in my magical jar.
