Can you please explain, sincerely, how the speed of rearward reciprocating assembly motion during its rearward portion of travel, contributes to the speed of forward travel?

If you're saying that the additional compression (and necessary decompression distance) of the mo fuggin buffer bumper itself is contributing to a decrease or increase in forward motion speed, I mean I guess that would then play a role in coupling the rearward motion speed to the forward motion timing. Seems a bit tenuous.

Reminder, hiking on public lands with an openly carried firearm is not only legal, but should be encouraged so as to desensitize normies. Just be friendly and reasonable. Sling the rifle on the back, or index the muzzle straight down in a controlled manner/posture, and remember to smile!

Nice SPRs. The Athlon 2-12 seems interesting. I've been considering one just so I can finish my 5.56 SPR and keep the NX8 2.5-20 on my SCAR 20S because it is a bit steep to buy a second NX8 2.5-20.

How do you like the Athlon?
