Except they don't. There are plenty of rich people that end up poor making stupid decisions and there are plenty of poor people that stay poor because they'd rather have a new Cadillac in the driveway instead of investing their savings.
The rest of what you said is just empty platitudes. Wealth isn't a zero-sum game. People aren't forced to take on debt, they choose to.
It's not Elon Musk, or Jeff Bezos's fault that you can't afford a 2,200sqft house in your local town on a single income. It's not their fault grocery prices are more expensive. It's not their fault your electric bill has been increasing.
Economics is incredibly complex and breaking it down to 'le rich people have ruined it!' is chimpanzee-tier thinking. But sure, go ahead and tax the rich more, they totally won't outsource more jobs. Let's give everyone more welfare, I'm sure flooding the grocery stores, car dealerships and residential housing market with more cash will solve the problems.

what i'd like to see them do is start bull dozing dying east coast cities and suburbs and start building new cities and suburbs. instead of row homes, do rebranded trailer parks. i suggest starting with baltimore. peoples homes being bulldozed can be relocated to either south carolina or north carolina.
