It's actually an extremly big decision they made. Some countries really take their PEGI seriously. That's an actual VERY expensive decision... so yeah, they are betting big on something.

In a perfect world in which that gets implemented, when and if gaijin wants to killswitch WT they'll be required by law to release it in the hands of the community OR at the very least to not force their hands into private servers, p2p communities of the sort, and then what happens is no longer their concern. Didn't know people actually got banned about that. Probably they just spammed like obnoxious little shits
