The summoning clones is a little odd and they showed a larger scale of how much collateral damage it does, but the end result is accurate to the technique's description: over a hundred blasts coming from all directions. I guess ufotable didn't want Akaza rotating like a beyblade in order to convey it as a 360 degrees attack, so the compass clones had to exist in animated form.
I wonder how CyberConnect 2 will render the attack in the new game, they usually follow the anime interpretation of the attacks but sometimes they do go their own way by doing their interpretation of the manga.

Strange, Koyuki's voice is the singer of all those Persona 5 songs, Lynn, one would imagine she would have a special song of her own during Akaza's backstory.
