I've got tons of theories already. Including multiple that get people pissed off to consider like the theory that Kris is the one that hit Susie and Ralsei when we "win" the Knight fight, not the Knight just speed blitzing everyone. Or the theory that everyone in the prophecy has swapped around their roles, including Dess being meant to somehow be the "Prince, Alone in Deepest Dark".

This is the train of thought for the schizo theory I'm sticking with now. The story was meant to be played out with these actors in the roles instead. But it ends tragically, probably with the death of Hero 2, which is meant to be Noelle.
So Kris and Dess found a way to reset everything and change the roles around. They've changed everything so now Susie will take the fall and Noelle will be safe.
That's the promise Kris is being kept to. That they would play the role of hero while Dess would play the role of villain all so Noelle would be safe.

And in Weird Route, we're saying "fuck your plan" and making Noelle into a new Angel to take our fate.
