In retrospect, Jerome really is actually pretty bad at the job.
I mean... I know it's not just him that makes the decisions, but he's in charge, and they let inflation get out of control (even if the Fed didn't cause it, they control the brakes). And now he's fucking it up the other direction. I get that the job stats are always inaccurate, but they've been consistently getting revised down for like over a year.
