I haven't gotten it to work on my machine so I just keep saying I'll wait for the Steam release.
That said, I usually don't care much about difficulty in games although SVS really did make me appreciate whatever we had going with the old mainline games.

I think if they had just worked a bit more to make the systems more transparent and adding a few more QoL features (like using items regularly as well as having the item skills) HDN would be looked upon way more favorably. Needing more polish but still being engaging enough is a feature of Compa games, I guess.
