My post is absolutely correct you illiterate troll. Savoury refers to a very specific kind of flavour while umami is far more broad. Yes, a seasoned, roasted chicken is both savoury and umami. Cheesecake on the other hand is clearly and obviously umami but not savoury in any way. Peacan pie isn't savoury. A plain pecan isn't savoury. A chicken tender dipped in honey is not savoury. Tons and tons of things are clearly umami that are not at all savoury. In English, words have meanings that are specific. The meanings of savoury and umami aren't even similar let alone the same.
