I finished the story and still getting destroyed by random creatures.

I am basically forcing myself through it right now, might switch to audio later if it doesn't get better.
The adaptation isn't too fast, but they made it confusing for no reason.
Should have started with the Zhou's world instead of the boss fight tease and the dream sequence at the end of Ep2 was placed badly IMO.
The shitty subtitle also doesn't help.
