I wonder if Sam got cancelled on purpose to protect his ego. He spent years going around saying he was funnier than everyone but he couldn't make high quality content because he was blackballed from the industry. Now he finally gets a budget to make the show he wants and it's all rehashed ideas from 10 years ago. Maybe he knew he didn't have enough ideas to make several good seasons of World Peace so he put a bunch of /pol/ stuff into it knowing he would get cancelled and wouldn't have to write anything.
