Gunn said that this whole universe has 4 "pillars".
Batman, Superman, WW, and Supergirl. He could have made it more interesting in my opinion, like replace supergirl with Aquaman.
Aquaman's comic actually outsold Batman at one point during the early 2010's. I could even see Gunn doing a needle drop scene where Aquaman does something badass while Ocean Man starts playing
