What's the obsession with gradient colours at nu-paradox? I don't get it. it looks UGLYYYYYYYYYYY. Just give me a READABLE map with flat colours and menus with flat colours or some texture but for the love of God NO GRADIENTS!!!!!
Also remove the 3D characters completely they are UGLY and add absolutely NOTHING to the game. Europa Universalis is a series about states not people. People are not interesting in the context of Europa Universalis.

Can you? Do you have every ancestor from the past 500 years, with names, date of birth, date of death, where they lived, when they got married, on which days they went to church etc. etc.? Are they ALL of one ethnicity? or at least 99%?
The 500 years is just due to that's how far back that paper trail goes. If you have noble blood you can probably go back to the 1200s or so, but alas all my ancestors were just peasants. Also the majority of medieval records were destroyed in a fire. Not that they were as thorough as the post-reformation records.
