And WHY does me engaging with it upset you so much?
I understand the "ignore the problem until it goes away" method of dealing with things but I'm old enough to know that fundamentally doesn't work, especially not in such a short timescale. There's really no HARM in engaging it, and the media discussion can coexist alongside it.
Perhaps I'm just interested in hyperanalyzing internet creatures. It would explain why I enjoyed Steins;Gate to a degree, as well as why I would actually stop and engage with a thread like this in the first place.
I'm just asking what has you so upset. And upset in a way that's preventing you from disengaging, as well. You CAN'T leave this discussion because you're a captive of it. I find that fascinating.
