Nigger, you know nothing about ballistics. A piece of fucking rubber is nothing like a human ear. No one uses rubber in ballistics tests because its not an analogue for flesh in any way be it cartilage, fat, muscle tissue, or anything else.

The ear is like a tenth of an inch thick at most. That's not enough flesh to slow down or fragment a .223 round nor is it enough flesh to create cavitation. All that's going to happen to an ear if you shoot it with a .223 diameter bullet is a .223 diameter hole in the ear.
