This is THE most 2007-feeling movie of all time. The iphone came out two months later and this film in hindsight is like a quaint, melancholy time capsule into the old world. This version of earth is such a fuzzy memory it's hard to believe such a reality even existed in our lifetime. Life not only changed almost immediately after this year but filmmaking did as well, with the introduction of the MCU the next year effectively killing this entire style of movie and prematurely ending the culture of the 2000's.

TL;DR Disturbia was the last pre-timeline shift, old earth dimension movie.

I like Disturbia more honestly. Rear Window's good sure, but it's just good, Hitchcock has many movies that are much better than it.
