So I've recently played Crisis Core. An while my overall opinion has soured on it, I kind of feel bad for Zack. Because he genuinely wanted to do well and be a hero but the rug was pulled from beneath him every time. He thought he was doing good work at Wutai because he was tricked by Shinra and he didn't realize he was their sword used to expand their empire and hide their mistakes.

Anon pls. So if we're taking Crisis Core as canon then Gillian Hewley did the exact same thing as Lucretia. She fucked Hollander and then had Jenova Cells injected into the fetus, producing Angeal. Gillian's cells were also passed on to another fetus, creating Genesis. Initially both were presumed to be normal children, causing the whole project to be deemed a failure. However it later turned out that Genesis has the ability to force his corrupted DNA into other people, turning them into clones of himself, similar to Jenova's method of infecting it's victims. Meanwhile Angeal is able to do it both ways, he can force his DNA into others in addition to being able to take in DNA from others and incorporate their strength into himself.
