what are some potential downsides to a turn system for 40k akin to that of Battletech and 2017 Apocalypse?
aka, players take alternating turns activating their units, and once all units have acted, the results of shooting and melee are resolved simultaneously, so that a unit cannot necessarily be obliterated before it has a chance to act, as can happen in IGUG and traditional AA,
how should phases look? The same, or condense them? Like, Strategy Phase, Movement Phase, Action Phase(condensing Shooting and Melee)?
I got my brain percolating about fixing 40k again...
