I get your point, guys. In the end, I think it doesn’t really matter whether you learn from Japanese, Chinese, or Korean artists, the method is mostly the same: draw a gesture, build a mannequin, add details and anatomy, and there’s your drawing. Then repeat that thousands of times to create a frame-by-frame animation. I think the truly important part is the illustration style and the visual library you start building from the beginning.

Thank you so much, Anon, for the advice. I'm actually going to start reading Perspective Made Easy. I think perspective is one of the most important things an artist can learn, even before studying anatomy and figure drawing
