Yeah, debating these people feels like they engage in sophistry. The wrangling over the black guy's tweet is perfect, as it's clear as day what he's saying, but they go back and parse over every word and make it say anything but he's saying.
They fail to explain literally anything, including why apparently there's so many feminist youtubers, activists, GDC presentations, essays, etc, but apparently it has no impact on anything and no one follows their advice.
Oh and i know they don't think beauty has any objecitve basis, therefore saying "feminists want to make games ugly" is meaningless to them, thus a "strawman", but if you parse through their words, they functionally want to make characters ugly, and just say it with more words. They also say that video games don't make people sexist, but they repeat gendered stereotypes that can lead to oppression of women (ie sexist).
