That basically just reads as cope. If your game requires self-balancing by players farther in the turn order that means there's an inherent imbalance to begin with. A game can be elegantly designed and still have flaws. My beloved Hansa T is the greatest 5 player game of all time, but I'll freely admit it's flaws.
