If you have repeatedly been treated one way for all of history consistently by every group in all societies, the only conclusions left are that you either deserve it or are best off being treated that way. Men did not "abuse" women, they disciplined them, and in return, women had lower suicide rates, lower mental illness, lower body counts, happier marriages, nicer behaviors, and did better by any metric that matters. You consider us cruel but we build your societies, we do the oil rigs, we maintain the power lines, we transport the food, we grow the food, we make the technology, we maintain the very air you breathe, and we expect very little in return, tasks with next to no effort that literal children can do, but you can't even do that.

If our behavior towards you is "cruel", then cruelty is a natural good that we need far far more of, for both of our wellbeing. Learn some humility and gratefulness for all we have done for you, the insane amount of wealth and infrastructure that we redistribute to you and the utter lack of physical force we exercise on you, for it is far more kindness than you have ever done for us at any point. I hope one day we can move past this and treat you the ways you will be happiest, in a place between child and man.
