Also these patch notes are fucked. Iron Man beam untouched, Storm/Jeffnado untouched, Emma assassinated, Thing given a "commit suicide" button, it's a nightmare patch.

Poke/Fly/Shield isn't going fucking anywhere with these changes. Nerfing Fantastic and Emma and buffing Namor just makes brawl and dive even LESS viable than it was last season. Half of the roster may as well not exist.
No one's going to like this just like no one likes the current shit state of the game. It will NOT survive another half-season with this balance. Time to uninstall.

I know I should just be glad the game is getting exposure but when people make a full fucking video about it but get basic shit wrong it fucks with my autism.
When he said "a duck dodge has less i-frames" and said it's good for avoiding single strikes with lots of recovery I nearly choked on my own spit.
For those unaware the duck dodge has ZERO i-frames. None. Zip. Nada. What it does is literally lower your hurtbox - this is why attacks you could normally duck on flat terrain will it you if you're above an enemy on a slope. There are also moves like ducking sweep or running slide that lower your hurtbox even further allowing you to get under moves you ordinarily couldn't duck like the purple demon's projectiles. It also cancels into itself, meaning that lowered state is effectively infinite in duration as long as you keep mashing up on the right stick.

Absolutely, there are some decent ideas that were added in the early access (knock back projectiles with a spin kick in style 2, grab enemies in style 3) but they don't work in the heat of the moment because they simply take too long to use.
I also really don't understand the dev's thinking when it comes to the block/dodge meter and style mechanics. You get three styles but only one can actually block so the other two are pointless fluff and wasted time building animations no one will ever see. Then you've got bosses that are parry-fests but if you fuck up even a little bit you get guard broken and then only perfect parries will work until the meter refills - but you can't stay away from the boss to let it refill because dodging around spends the same meter.
