She trusts Peter more than Paul. That character brings no value to the story. Kill off Paul already. He was Wells' bull's self-insert. Now that Wells is gone, every other writer is taking turns dragging Paul through the mud, and it looks like Kelly doesn't care about Paul either. Kill off Paul already or do something interesting and turn him into a villain who holds a grudge against Peter and the symbiote for blue balling him.
