Turtle is the OSRS equivalent to World of Warcraft. Imagine if Blizzard made an expansion to 1.12 instead of releasing The Burning Crusade.

>How is it different from Classic/other private servers?
It's Classic+ meaning -
New races (High Elves, Goblins)
New race/class combos (Dwarf Mage, Troll Warlock etc.)
New zones, dungeons, raids and thousands of quests designed with "classic", lore-friendly sensibilities. Warcraft II/III in particular receive a lot of love from the developers.
Slow leveling pace; it's not a rush to the endgame
Devs actually listen to feedback, probably agree with you and don’t hate you
Comfy© and S O V L™

>Is it pay-to-win?
Cosmetics and QoL only. Mount skins, pets, bags, assistants etc. No gear, no gold. Gold Sellers are taken care of long before it becomes a problem and GDKP = instant ban. Devs hate whales.

>Is it dead?
PvE server peaks at >9000 and PvP server peaks at >2000 daily.

>Is it going to shutdown?
Server is hosted in EU. It's been running since 2018 so... I think we're pretty safe.

>I don't live in Europe. What about lag?
110-115ms from California.

>Best class/race?
RP what you want, nerd.
Everything’s viable because it's classic+ and they improved balancing past 1.12
