The picture tells you everything you're going to need to know. There isn't that much nuance to flamer, you'll figure it out. See the second paragraph in the text.

You're still learning the game, don't worry too much about it. You'll either bounce off the game, or stubbornly autism through and figure it out. /coopg/ will happily give you advice on the basics you should be figuring out, and we have at least a handful of knowledgable ogryn players, I just can't give you any specific advice without knowing what you want to do. And if you don't know, that's fine, just ask again once you're actually level 30 and able to cobble a build together.
>I don't deal much damage and that I die a lot. We did a mortis trial
Mortis trials are disproportionately difficult for inexperienced players, and even more so for low level characters without builds, and without the knowledge of what makes a good build. The qrd is that boss spawns can and will cause a wipe, especially for inexperienced players that panic and scatter when scary music and big healthbar show up. Keep a cool head, and bring a weapon that deletes bosses, JUST IN FUCKING CASE. For ogryn, it's twin stubber with the right skill, point blank barrage, using the burn node. Don't drop below half your ammo, just in case a boss spawns.
I'd recommend you play normal missions, or with a friend that's actually knowledgeable enough to carry you through cancerous wave RNG if it must be mortis.

There's a lot to explain, and the thread is likely still going to shit on it because most users here would rather pretend they play havoc 40, than actually play havoc 40.
The TL;DR is that my aim was to make the build simultaneously as easy to play, and as stable, as physically possible. Things have to go extremely wrong for me to not contribute. Flamer is the damage dealer, boss kill, and party horde clear here. The build assumes that you get most of the ammo pickups, but theoretically functions without them.
Zero toughness investment can be a little tricky to play, but you do get good DR from blazing piety's left side, and should be under piss toughness 90% of the time that actually matters anyway, and your +% toughness curios do not apply to it.

A similar version of this build is how I originally got my true survivor two weeks after release. It barely changed since then, and it's my most played and most successful havoc 40 build. Works just fine without bubble and without veteran, but would obviously prefer to have both. The ideal 4th is a dedicated melee damage zealot with stealth, otherwise you should be playing bodyguard for your psyker, especially when the lack of vet puts ammo pressure on you.

I hope I haven't made any mistakes setting up the picture, it was all a little haphazard. I accidentally had grimoire resistance in there for a second.
