This thing fucks with your damage scaling in cases where you actually get a combo, and often leads to very weird, uncomfortable and disadvantageous interactions. To the point that the Vira-community has all manners of in-jokes about Lumi being not helpful. Zoners are a suffering MU for her, this thing does not substitute an actual fireball.
She doesn't have that much better buttons than most of the shotos and is overall just a worse Kat. Without install, her corner carry and midscreen damage is pathetic, and her corner combo routing is restrictive.
In install, Graceview is another meme that likely fucks her up as much as it offers something meaningful. Better damage and corner carry, sure, but it's ultimately a case of "win better".
I won't complain about her 5U, it's okay to have this long of a startup for what it gives you
Vira is still a good, fun and capable character. I know I have to say this, because just pointing at flaws makes some people scream DOWNPLAYER with fully erect rageboner.

No, it's Vira.
I'm probably going to get her to Masters this week and then I will have to make a decision.
Although, playing a character just for a couple of weeks means barely scraping on the surface. There is still stuff to explore. Maybe I should wait until the next patch (Wilnas release).
