China has 1-2 years at best before their total collapse. Just like how the collapse of the USSR and the end of the cold war drastically reduced the budget for big projects, the coming collapse of China will do the same for spaceflight. We are never getting off this rock. Trump is already cutting projects like crazy. With China gone, expect Artemis III , all future lunar/Mars to be on the chopping block too
