That is literally what I said and I accounted for that in my post.
Sonic is conveniently, VERY conveniently, EXTREMELY CONVENIENTLY someone who gains pleasure from acquiring skills that would normally require compromise and hard work.
Sonic just very conveniently doesn't operate on the same nature that literally every single fucking human being on planet earth operates on, which is to gain hedonistic pleasure from self-serving actions. Nonono, to Sonic, the action that is normally associated with selflessness IS the self-serving action.
Therefore, Sonic is able to be selfish while APPEARING selfless to others, so that he can gain the benefits of BOTH states at the same time, gaining pleasure from the selfishness while also being liked for the apparent selflessness. How extremely convenient for him, truly. Take away Sonic's powers and put him in our world. Hell, give him a head start and have him be born in an upper-class American family. I'd love to see him get absolutely destroyed by the reality of an inconvenient world.
