The reason a filter looks better than NN is because NN is a bizarre aberration, coming from some childlike assumption that a low-pixel count image on a high pixel screen should be shown by just using blocks of pixels, like, yeah of course anything else looks better what the fuck was anyone thinking expecting that to look ok?
