I assume going from nikke to heretic the changes are minimal. The corruption code may changes some things within the nikke mind tho, with all the gaslighting.
Also Cindy was the first heretic, but she was given to the raptures as an already strong unit.
Since humanity stopped creating strong units like her the raptures had to create the strong units themselves. And they learned how to do that that after they stole Lilith's head. (My headcanon btw)
