The Super will just have a higher factory boost setting with a 24GB VRAM config (8x 24Gbit GDDR7).
NVIDIA's not going to give a further cut-down GB202 chip for gamers, especially when there are no alternatives at this spec.

12GB isn't as crippling as 8GB.
The settings that push 12GB cards over the edge @ 1440p are usually too demanding to run @ above 60 FPS.
5070 Super is the only refresh SKU rumored to get a minor GPU upgrade, but it's not worth the wait & expected purchase price increase.
