>All you can check is that it's currently free of errors or failures, and a deep smart scan (or other kinds of deep testing) will carefully test every sector to make sure it's free
That's what I want to check yeah. It's just a case of because I got it from eBay I want to be sure it's not been in use and then sold as new or anything like that.
What tools would you suggest for deep testing? I ran crystaldiskinfo which did a basic smart test but I had no idea how to do a deeper one to check it all out and get more info.
Also would it be a bad idea to run two at once at all? Not sure if it's resource intensive or can cause issues. I know it can take 24 hours+ because I had one going for 16+ and then the drive disconnected for another reason

Because they're stupid.
But you knew that, so congratulations for making me say it anyway.

>if people are playing old games then they are not buying and playing new games
Sure. That's certainly why CORPORATIONS don't want it to happen. But frankly, private servers are probably not much threat to the next high-profile retail product anyway. People lose interest without active development in these MMO environments.

>only an idiot would visit the united states by choice.
this is why I'm surprised and confused that no one seems to care about this stuff. USA used to be the place people wanted to go, and now it's like we're basically closing our borders.
It's scary because like, why? Why are we acting so shifty all the sudden? Are we going to become like North Korea where people from other countries aren't really allowed to just come and visit anymore??? Does that mean we the people won't be able to ask for help if more horrible stuff starts happening?
MAYBE!
