I don't know, I'm still holding out hope. With all the growth he experienced through the Sloth arc of trying to find a reason to live beyond being needed to fight the demon lord, I feel it'd be pretty lame if he just went "oh nevermind Belphegor was right, back to wanting to die I go."

It's more like Mob Psycho 100, but if Mob was conscripted into the Vatican and had to fight literal demon lords from Christian Hell on a regular basis. I'd say it's better because it's clearly following a plan, and there's so many threads between arcs you can connect when looking back on it. Meanwhile, CSM right now is kind of just bumbling around the place, even though it seems like we're gearing up towards the end.
(It also involves the MC getting groomed by older women, and I've heard some people praise this manga for that because it actually spends a whole arc revolving around this issue and how much it affects him, rather than just spamming the same encounter of Denji getting groomed a bunch of times like CSM does).
