He rewrote the story to be more divisive and subversive to subvert your expectations, and they don't work at fucking all and it created major fucking plot holes in order for him to turn it into Marvel Avengers slop.

Plenty of places to visit now, lots of environmental happenings, but they don't amount to anything.
