As time goes on and we get more expansions, I'm getting grateful for mods that pull back rather than feeling the need to add their own weapons, apparel, bionics etc. I've got to make a nursery/schoolroom, church/throneroom and potentially even make room for a ship on top of all the other crap that expansions and mods add.
As far as vanilla sensibilities go, this seems relatively well made and better suited for nuclear power than Rimatomics. That's why. IMO the reactors themselves should be as large as geothermals and give off huge amounts of heat and maybe some other negatives. You could use them to strategically cook raiders or keep warm in the cold, but you can't hide them in a mountain or behind a bunch of walls without big issues, and you've still got to get uranium to craft rods and keep it fed. It ideally be one or two more buildings with pros and cons, not half a fucking conversion mod with OC lore.
Stuff like this is actually a valuable addition when vanilla lacks a bridge between industrial power and magical hard-to-get artifacts that spit out puny amounts of power each for no cost whatsoever.
