I had a pretty great time throughout, found it to be a very well paced game if you aren’t rushing/going for 100% the entire time. I just kinda did what I wanted to and saved some extras for the postgame.

The only two parts that really annoyed me were the stupid gold checks in the forbidden layer and the fucking Zebra Bananza. That thing controls like dick and I hated using it every time.

I hope we don’t have to wait much longer for a new DK game because this was overall exactly what I wanted it to be. Would love to get a rotation of 3D and 2D games going forward similar to Mario.
