You sound like me, but i've fallen out of buying fantasy shit because there aren't any good fantasy lines anymore.
There's more fantasy lines today, but it's all too generic, he-man scale (too tall/buff for 1:12) and Mythic Legions has gotten way too bad.
In fact, I've also fallen out of collecting MLs and Star WArs figures, but that's generallly because of character selection. For the past 5 years, I've just been filling out the older lines i collect and supplimenting my 1:18 collection with random lines i don't collect, because sometimes Mattel releases something cool in their JP line.
And unlike you, last year i started collecting McFarlane's McStatue era figures, despite initially avoiding them because they didn't have articulation. After decades of admiring McFarlane's paint and sculpt work on them, i finally gave in.

What made you made mad anyway? Because you dont think buying only shit from popular shit makes you a consumerwhore? Finding out that stories are only attached to popular products in order to make them sell more?
Or does someone playing with their toys actually trigger you that much? You jealous i'm mixing expensive toys together, from random licenses, and would be considered illegal by a corporate lawyer?
BTW, which third worlder are you? The one that lives in a favela? Hong Kong? Because it's always a third worlder who even holds a grudge against me.
