it's not even a matter of their politics, just the fact they hate people who enjoyed the IP s they took over and intentionally make their new productions as awful as they can, even worse than the biggest unintentional flop, just to ruin it as revenge on the fans
entire industries are now being devoted to the mass media equivalent of Sid from Toy Story smashing his sister's toys just to ruin something she wants to play with
