I think the main issue with this (in regards to Suselle) is that I'm looking forward to the big reveal. I'm very invested in the whole plot of Kris hiding that and Susie probably being devastated once it reaches the point where Kris just has to carry on with the plan without her. I've had a whole game of them being built up and shown how much they now care for each other and this is gonna be the single biggest emotional impact in the game. I want to see how they come out of it, and I wish that they come out of it becoming even tighter, hopefully, rather than breaking apart, though I'll also accept it if they do.

With Susie and Noelle, what the fuck am I looking forward to? For another scene where it's just smooth sailing and by the third time they meet they're already being all kissy kissy while both of them still fumble words? Am I looking forward to the next time Noelle fucks up and says something hurtful? Even the idea that their festival date might go wrong and Susie might break it off mostly just makes me go "Meh, finally".
