Try NPC summons in general. I swear, those fuckers are a double-edged sword. For some fights, they make them trivial. For others, not having the boss focused on you means you can get randomly tapped when the boss attacks the summon. For some bosses, it's a giant 'thank god' I don't have the run that particular gauntlet again. For others, they more trouble than they're worth.
