Tuvok should be a better Vulcan than Spock, he's a full-blooded Vulcan. But he's a career Starfleet officer who is only a Lt. Commander after being in Starfleet for like 30 years, whereas Spock's unique experience and insights being half-Vulcan have led to him to become an admiral multiple times and one of the most honored legendary ambassadors in Federation history.

TOS also has a hard reset after every episode. Not once do they cite previous events in TOS, one episode to another. The only time you could even possibly cite would be The Menagerie which was basically just a recut of The Cage which is an unaired pilot so that definitely doesn't count.
Do you also think ENT is superior to TOS because it has heckin' serialization like the amazing Temporal Cold War storyline?
