I was young enough to remember it, because my older brother would go to the gamespeak menu and make out like Abe was talking to me and then hiss at me and stuff to freak me out. it scared the shit outta me
we must've got it on a demo disc a few years after it came out, since I remember seeing Tomba a lot as well and that was on demo discs later on
back then I had no idea what it really was besides the weird scary game, but years later I'd go on to play it and it turned out to be my favorite game of all time and still is
the atmosphere, music, worldbuilding, creature designs, animations, CGI are all top shelf and the game is a lot of fun. whenever I need a game to use as a yardstick for quality I go to Oddysee
