Dataminers have never confirmed soft pity being in the game.
There is speculation on what it could look like. But the only calculations done have been done off the TW server which tells you what the rates are to a degree
Unless you're talking about pic related, which implies that hitting hard pity is around a 0.36% chance and oh, is also based on the soft pity in the TW server, not the global server.
Still no explanation on the devs removing the soft pity rates text from global, sea and jp btw.

According to the tester, it SHOULD be this. But the chance of actually going through all these % checks and still hitting 80/80 is lower than hitting a 5* in a single roll. Which means I am the unluckiest person in the game with 3 back to back hard pities.
