The point is that we OURSELVES will make the game’s characters stronger, we OURSELVES will gather the best equipment for them, with which they’ll be able to defeat us.

And the final battle won’t just be against Kris, but the whole group—Noelle and Susie too. Because we’re their enemy, we’re the villain, the monster that needs to be stopped. And I doubt there’ll be any victory options for us. Most likely, it’ll be a scripted fight where we’re forced to lose.

Most likely, the fight against us will be the main narrative of the weird route. As we know, its leitmotif is freedom. And obviously, the main obstacle to freedom is (YOU). So, you'll be making characters stronger, gathering the best equipment, only for it to backfire in your face when they decide to take you down.

I’d love for it to be a path of eldritch horror and chthonic vibes, but I just don’t believe Toby has the balls for it.
