>Compliments Spamton well without feeling like a direct retread, adds onto his story and his hatred of TVs
>Gets to live a new life at Mettaton's place and inspire him to stop being a shut-in all day
>Is never glooby

Because Sans is an ass and thinks it's funny to fuck with the weirdly curious stranger talking to him like they've known him before. Papyrus having any real story significance at all would be lame and gay and nobody will convince me otherwise
