Just once it'd be nice to see a character get AIDS and die from being injected with a foreign power level substance.
I also really do not get it in context of Resident Evil. They made Jill a Super Saiyan, but that was only to combat Wesker... So why not just not make Wesker a Super Saiyan? Zombies? Puzzles? Huh?

I hate this concept. “It's an afterlife” or “it's just a dream.” It's just laziness in developing a story or background for what you want to tell.

Hint: you don't need an explanation for how NPCs accomplish shit with magic.
As for the spell, I'd add a consumed material component but I'm particularly anal about forcecages and the like.
