>Is USA getting too cocky?
Just lashing out.
They are starting a one-sided trade war because they are losing on all fronts.
The USD is getting le fucked as nobody but their vassals are buying the US treasuries.
The BRICS have already surpassed the west in GDP, and the last bit of control we exert is financial and in the insurance market, both of which are replaced in BRICS.
Trump is trying to delay the western collapse a few years by forcing it to be an inevitable crash.
Oh, and in terms of military power it is now beyond any doubts that the west, and muttistan in particular, have none. It is and always was a grift first and foremost.
Without military might to back up the economic extortion, the whole hegemonic system looks like a house of cards.

>Companies should be required by law to make their products repairable.
At least they should not go out of their way to prevent repairs and make maintaining your own product impossible.
Apple Tesla and John Deereare prime examples of this.
I remember when you could just buy replacement parts for the iPhone and swap the screen etc, that's still possible but the phone won't work without a software update for the new part... something that only their service centers have legal access to.
This is abusive.
But games do the same. They hold your progress and/or sunk cost hostage until that IP is killed. And no, you are not allowed to host your own server.
Imo this practice should be illegal
