I don’t think there’s any exact reason like

it seems just a fairly unappealing face, maybe because Aoshima’s only really ever made car models before. That being said; the cat’s face is a lot nicer imo. Liya from LADoTOYS is another kemono wolf girlpla with doll eyes and is incredibly appealing.
