You faggots talk as if the NBA season was massively expanded beyond where it normally was at some point, but it's been 82 games since forever and somehow players were able to deal with it despite having worse nutrition, training, and medical tech available at the time.
Wilt played 80+ games nine times and had 2 more years of 79 games played
John Havlicek played 11 80+ game seasons
Jordan had 11 80+ game seasons and his last was at age 39
John Stockton has 16 seasons where he missed ZERO games
Tim Duncan's team was one of the pioneers of load management and he still played 6 seasons of 80+ games and was in the high 70's for most of the others
Curry has played 80 games 2 times
Tatum has played 80 games once
Embiid has never even played 70 games
These guys are playing the same schedule everyone always had and are getting WAY more rest than previous generations. So what's their fucking problem? You need more games off? Bitch, you're already taking them.

This post is facetious because you act like the choice is between a guy with mediocre productivity for a long time or a guy with MVP-tier production for a short time. But the whole point is that the guys we're talking about did both.
Jerry Rice didn't just average okay stats for a really long time, he led the league in yards and touchdowns six times. Brady led the league in TDs five times and set the league record for completions in his 22nd season. They were consistently near the top of the league in productivity AND had implausibly long careers. You understand? It's not an either / or wiht them. They had the 10 year career of the first guy you described, but then did it again. That's why their records are most likely untouchable
